What is ‘coaching’ exactly?

Coaching is simply you and I sharing time together to work through your feelings and find ways to help you get to the root of what is troubling you. We will discuss and practice techniques that you can use now and in the future, should you need them.

Where does it happen?

In a private space at a local venue, over video call, over voice call or we can meet for a walk and then talk at the same time. Whatever feels right for you.

How long is a session?

A session is up to one hour. I offer a free introductory session which lasts around 20 minutes during which you can ask questions and we can find out a bit more about each other.

What if it doesn’t feel right?

During the introductory session you can ask me about any queries or concerns you might have. If I am not the right coach for you, I can refer you to another coach that might be.

How long will it take?

This depends on you and your unique situation. I know you will start to feel a difference after your first session as we work together to identify your goals. Typically I have seen clients from as little as 3 - 6 sessions but everyone is different.

Is it worth it?

Only you can answer that. I know that investing in your emotional wellbeing is worth it, in fact it might just be the best thing you could ever do for yourself!

Couldn’t I just read a book?

Of course! There are many books, articles and podcasts about emotional wellbeing and they will undoubtedly have something that resonates for you but spending time with a coach in a space together where we are both focussed on listening and understanding, is nothing short of magical.
